Trans Canada Contracting Ltd. is a locally owned general contracting firm that was incorporated by Shawn Karnitsky and Keith Hubelit on March 10, 2017. The company is formed by experienced senior construction personnel who are dedicated to moving the company forward in the construction industry with a seasoned group of employees with proven track records. We are fully insured and presently have bonding capabilities for projects up to $15 million. Our business culture is based on trust, teamwork, quality of work and honest negotiations. We have provided personalized, professional, hands-on services in general contracting, construction management, and design build services throughout our professional careers. These services were provided in response to needs in the commercial, institutional, industrial and municipal infrastructure projects across Saskatchewan. While being based in Regina, we have experienced construction superintendents throughout the province that have a wealth of knowledge with respect to their area. This promotes an opportunity to employ local labor and contractors as well as providing economic benefits and community pride in the locales where the projects are being completed.
We are a General Contractor for commercial, institutional, light industrial and municipal infrastructure projects. Our goal is to provide high quality facilities and construction services that stand the test of time. Our focus is, and will continue to be, building long lasting business relationships. We involve the entire project team in all aspects of a project thus enabling the client to benefit from their respective expertise in budget control, scheduling, project management, engineering and design. We pride ourselves on being able to overcome difficult issues, as a team, invariably attaining positive results for all involved. While overseeing all construction activities, safety, quality control and scheduling we also warranty the completed work and train facility employees on newly installed systems.
Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment on all projects is a priority. Trans Canada Contracting is committed to strongly endorsing and promoting accident prevention, loss control and safe working conditions. This safety oriented atmosphere, in turn, aids in preventing injuries to persons and damage to property, tools and equipment. The Safety Officer, owners and superintendents have an ongoing responsibility to inspect sites, conducts audits, hold meetings, tool box talks as well as provide continual safety training. We require that all employees are engaged in safe behaviors that protect themselves and all others from potential hazards. All onsite employees receive at the minimum SCOT (Safety Construction Orientation Training) prior to being sent into the field. We have COR (Certificate of Recognition) with SCSA and are registered with ISNetworld.
